Auction highlight became champion at mare grading in Denmark10-10-2019 - 10:20

The most expensive foal at the Danish Warmblood Elite Foal Auction in 2016 was the filly Lissau’s Ginger DWB who was bought by Norwegian Kristin Andresen. At the autumn mare grading in Ringsted, Denmark last weekend this mare got champion in her heat.

The 3-year-old Danish Warmblood mare Lissau’s Ginger DWB by Franklin/Sandro Hit was bred by Majbrit Lissau and owned by Kristin Andresen/Equi Stallion. At the DWB Elite Foal Auction at Vilhelmsborg 2016 this filly sold for 350,000 DKK and was thereby the most expensive foal at the auction. Among other things her handsome type and expressive trot made her the most attractive foal that evening in August 2016.

At the Zealand region mare grading she got the champion prize with for instance the score 8,5 for walk and trot.

As runner-up in the same heat came Soros Diva also owned by Kristin Andresen/Equi Stallion, Norway.  This filly was champion at the DWB foal show in Norway and selected for the Elite Foal- and Mare Show at Vilhelmsborg 2016. She as well had 2 x 8,5 in her score sheet, among others for canter. Soros Diva is by Hesselhøj Donkey Boy/Blue Hors Don Romantic, bred by Soros Sportshorses, Norway.

In the heat of mares of 4 years and older the DWB mare Gørklintgårds Fire by Apache/Sunny-Boy became champion. She is bred and owned by Gørklintgård/Jørgen Ravn, and she got 3 x 8,5.
