The annual stallion list of Dansk Varmblod

Each year, the stallion owner must pay an annual fee to keep his stallion on the official DWB stallion list, thereby sustaining its approval. In the stallion list it is possible to make various searches like breeding evaluations, frozen semen, etc and on each stallion site, information on performance and pedigree can be found.

The stallion list contains stallions entered for the breeding year 2012.

Each year the stallions must be entered to this list by their stallion keeper, and a new one is available late April each year. When entered, they can be used freely for DWB graded mares without extra costs, and the produced foal can get original DWB passport.

NB!: Some of the stallions lack to send DNA-/pedigree control documentation and are therefore not entered the stallion list of the Danish Agricultural Advisory Centre to which we are closely connected. Consequently, foals by these breedisres cannot be registered unless this is produced and sent to the therefore not entered the stallion list of the

Using a stallion, not on DWB's stallion list:
If a stallion is not entered on the DWB stallion list by its owner, the foal produced cannot get red equine passport, but only a blue "crossbreed"-passport. Still, the mare owner can apply for using a breedsire of extraordinary good quality and get red DWB-papers on it like this:
